Sun Sentinel, Doyle Foundation Pay Tribute To Caridad for Our Good Work with the Working Poor

The great work of Caridad Center is known far and wide. This month Caridad is being recognized by two important groups for the services we provide to the uninsured and working poor. With that honor comes a $1,000 grant.

Each month in Palm Beach and Broward Counties, The Dennis M. and Lois A. Doyle Family Foundation, in partnership with Sun Sentinel Charities, spotlight a nonprofit. This month Caridad is the Palm Beach County focus. To read the Sun Sentinel article click here.

“This award pays tribute to the many charitable organizations that quietly but effectively serve our community," said Doyle Family Foundation founder Denny Doyle.  "The Doyle Award wants to recognize these organizations and the people who without fanfare carry out their mission."

Caridad now is the largest clinic of its kind in the state, operating free medical, vision and dental clinics that provide vital health, education and improved living standards to the underserved working poor in Palm Beach County.
