Caridad Center and the Prevention, Education & Treatment program will be hosting an event on Saturday November 12, 2011 from 9:00am-1:00pm.
The focus will be on healthy lifestyle living for the entire family.
Various activities including healthy cooking demonstrations and physical fitness activities, including ZUMBA!
Over 40 community organizations will participate.
Free screenings also include including BMI, (body mass index) glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, and dental examinations.
Eye Care of America from San Francisco, CA will be conducting vision screenings for our community.
The FloridaeyeSmart eyeCheck Project is being sponsored by the American Academy of Ophthalmology in conjunction with the For Eye Care Foundation, Inc., the foundation of the Florida Society of Ophthalmology. The American Academy of Ophthalmology and the For Eye Care Foundation, Inc. have partnered with the Caridad Center in Boynton Beach to host an eye screenings.
