Caridad Center Participating in Back to School Bash

On August 14, families from Caridad Center will participate in the Community Back to School Bash at the WPB Convention Center. The children are paired with a personal shopper who guides them through a "store" of new, grade-appropriate school supplies and backpacks. Each family also gets lunch, free haircuts, clothing and books. This event-the largest in the county-exists to provide childen with the tools they need to succeed in school.  The BASH is a non-profit, volunteer organization, relying on donations of money, goods and services from individuals, foundations and organizations. They will collaborate with over 50 non-profit agencies this year, serving  almost 10,000 children in PB County.
