Our little surgical room is undergoing a major change!

Its new look will be that of a surgical suite--just like an area that you would view in any hospital or well-equipped clinic.Our volunteer ophthamologists are anxiously awaiting its completion.  The plan is to be able to perform simple ophthalmological procedures right here in Caridad Center. This development will provide a  benefit that would not be available to our patients who cannot afford to pay for private care. Many of our patients suffer from eye ailments, due to excessive sun exposure. 

The Caridad Center relies on a volunteer base of doctors, dentists, nurses, teachers, clinic workers and administrative volunteers. Over 300 of these dedicated professionals, several of whom have more than eighteen years of volunteer service with Caridad Center,   will be honored at our Twentieth Anniversary Celebration Dinner on March 11 at Benvenuto Restaurant.

Your contribution will be recognized and appreciated by  300 + volunteer professionals, who have made significant contributions to the twenty years of medical, dental and support services offered to Palm Beach County’s working poor at Caridad Center.
